Wish Upon a Teen introduces an innovative adaptive program for our teens that combines the invigorating activity of boxing with the restorative benefits of yoga. In partnership with JABS Gym in Birmingham, MI, the program consists of one-hour long classes taught by professional boxing and yoga instructors. Students will learn basic punches and combinations used in boxing while practicing them on their own punching bag. Then, the yoga mats are rolled out for some time in tranquil meditation. The BOYO program allows participants to focus on their physical and mental goals through focused workouts.
